Description

Unusual antique Japanese 3 panel screen painting with six original Japanese woodblock prints mounted on a gold-speckled paper ground. Each print measures 6.75" x 8.25". Screen measures 28" x 54.5". Dates from the early 20th century. There is a small repair (1.5") near the lower woodblock on the left panel (see detail image). Also a small stain towards top of this panel. Otherwise screen is in very good condition with a nice silk border. Back of screen has a little wear, a repair to a tear in the paper but nothing that effects the front of screen. Please see images.
