Description
This module will activate:
1. AMG-style startup screen at the instrument cluster (except 205/253)
2. AMG-style menu at the Instrument cluster with
2 x Oil temps (3 at some clusters)
SImple OBD2 plug - no disassembly, no wires, no head unit removal necessary. Any time you can revert activation back to the factory settings with the same module in case your car is still under warranty.

Before you ask any question - just send me your car vin number as car model and production year will not help
Q: My car is not in the list - may be it will work?
A: Definately not. 100% sure
Q: I have a V447/W222/W213 - will it work?
A: No
Q: I would like to order just to try on my own risk. Can I return if does not work?
A: No - better send a vin number and we will let you know
Q: how many Oil temperatures I will have at the AMG cluster menu?
A: minimum 2 but 3 at some clusters
Q: How to know 2 or 3 for sure?
A: no way, only to test
Q: Can I return if I expected 3 oil temp but got 2
A: No - this is pure your risk 100%. Do not order if you need 3 temps for sure.
IMPORTANT: at some clusters AMG menu activation may change the cluster layout, for example D-N-R symbols may change position from up to down of versa, also some other text menues may change their positions or size or colors or even disappear. Startup needles (pointers) spin may be not available. Also at diesel cars Pre-Glow lamp may work different way.

Function
OPERATION MANUAL (ONE-FUNCTION MODULE):
turn your ignition (ACC position 2) On but
DO NOT START THE MOTOR
wait minimum 60 seconds till audio head unit totally booted
plug module to the diagnostic socket under the dash (also called OBD2)
observe your audio head unit screen for messages
you will see "waiting..." message about 20 seconds
then you will see HWID: xxxxxxx - your audio head unit serial number
then you see message "Succesful, xxxxxxxxx"
Audio20 will be rebooted - means activation finished
remove module from diagnostis socket
OPERATION MANUAL (2 or more functions with one module):
turn ignition on (ACC position 2) but DO NOT START THE MOTOR!!!
wait till audio head unit will be totally booted (60 seconds)
switch audio unit to the radio mode (press RADIO button)
plug module to OBD2 disgnostic socket
you will see "unlock more features" or other message
here you need to select the function you need to apply:
1> or 2> .... 5> or whatever activated
to select function please use:
at the cars with NO COMAND numeric buttons - use controller rotation left and right and confirm with pressing controller down
at the car with COMAND head unit numeric buttons - use << or >> COMAND buttons and confirm with * (star) button or at NTG4.5 hear unit with COMAND ON button
rotate controller till you see the function you'd like to activate (for example 1> VIM for HU5s2)
confirm with pressing controller knob down or * button at COMAND
you will see :HWID.... and other messages that means activation started
then you see the message "Successful, xxxxxxxx" = activation finished
remove module
test your function
