This is an unframed monochrome ink painting of two ducks with bamboo and the moon. It is likely painted on silk. The artist is unknown. The work is skillfully done and from the condition and style, it appears to be older, perhaps from the first part of the 20th century or earlier.
The calligraphy at bottom left is thought to read as follows:
維山　-　Weishan
Right corner shows some bending and bottom left at calligraphy portion shows water damage.
