Antique BLUE OPALINE FRANCE PERFUME Bottle Paris Napoleon Empire Grand Tour
Offering an exquisite antique French Blue Opaline PERFUME Bottle. ca 1860's- 1880's. Napoleon lll Empire. Grand Tour. Very fine gilt bronze dore ormolu mounts-- in superb, in tact condition. Elegantly raised on ball feet.
Ormolu--delicate open scrolling design. Five miniature detailed depictions (under glass) of Paris monuments including Luxembourg Gardens, Arc de Triomphe,  Pantheon, Eglise de la Madeleine , etc. Exquisite detail.
In very good antique condition. No chips. No cracks.  Hinge-opens and closes easily and securely. Minimal wear  to  "paintings." See images. Retains original stopper (often missing) -- but is very secure in bottle-- do not want to force out. Also retains original dore base.
Approx dimensions.  4 7/8" h.  Base 2 7/8" by 2 7/8"
Elegant. Objet de vertu.  Hard to find.
