1860s COBALT BLUE BOSTON & SANDWICH GLASS BLOWN PUNGENT SCENT BOTTLE + ORIG LID

Description

Here's an early hand blown cobalt blue scent or pungent bottle blown at the Boston & Sandwich Glass Co in the 1850s or 1860s....it still has its original Brittania or pewter cap!.....no embossing....Hand blown in mold.....flat smooth base...ground threaded collar with original cap....cobalt blue ....8 sided corset shape....2 3/8"tall....Excellent shiny nice condition with only a couple small shallow nicks near base; no other damage. A shiny clean bottle with no haze.
.....We just cant keep everything, so after 50 years of digging and collecting we have decided to part with many of our bottles (to make room for more..haha)...so keep watching our listings as many rare treasures are being found!
